Jaoko is a male visual artist born in Kenya. Practising visual artist to present, focus on acrylic paintings creation & sale of original artworks.
Nature is his source of inspiration and evoked from observation & investigation of nature and express the experience & feelings in colour shapes and movement.
His pieces are about life, its memories, likes & dislikes, an emotional work which is life communicating, imposing of patterns on experience for his viewer’s aesthetic enjoyment is recognition of the patterns & colour. He inspires to reflect life from a special mirror…LOVE.
He employs broken paint technique, defining his focal point with movement, harmonising & contrasting colours at the same time.
He has Collaborated with other visual & performing artists in youth training & project to enhance art education in children (PAYA 2016), as well as visual artists in Kisumu visual art exhibition (2017). He was also part of Nairobi museum (Tales of the lake) exhibition (2018).He showed at joint exhibition with Coster Ojwang at polka dot (Tales of strokes) 2019
